I have just finished 'tokyo' - wow! What a captivating book. I plan on visiting Nanking now, hopefully next year, simply to see everything that was so vividly described in the book! Would definitely recommend :)

I've loved your books for over 10 years now , your books are such a unique type of horror . Tokyo or the devil in nanking is still to this day my favourite book ever and it still sticks with me !! How no one in the movie industry hasn't picked up the story of tokyo to make into a movie i don't know. Maybe reach out to studio's in china mo I think they would be open to making that . Anyway hope we see another book from you soon. Thank you for the hours of entertainment!!

Does anyone know if Mo is ok? As much as i'd like to see new work from her, the complete lack of information regarding herself for the last year is very worrying.

Bonjour :)

Is there going to be more of Jack Caffrey?

FROM: Gail Butler Thompson

SPOILER ALERT: I just finished reading "Gone" which I found to be very entertaining. If anyone can help me with 2 mysteries though. Firstly, if Prody proved to be the culprit, why was Moon being filmed on Martha's bed? Secondly, did Prody take Emily from the house and then return before faking being drugged (or gassed)?

Mo Hayder

Rel: CD14-78 DS (status: approved)

Ref: 00478-WD

Mo Hayder has written some of the most terrifying crime thrillers you will ever read.  Her first novel, Birdman, was hailed as a 'first-class shocker' by the Guardian and her follow-up, The Treatment was voted by The Times one of 'the top ten most scary thrillers ever written'. In 2012 Gone won the prestigious Edgars Best Novel award.

Mo's books are 100% authentic, drawing on her long research association with several UK police forces and on her personal encounters with criminals and prostitutes.

Mo left school at 15 and has worked as a barmaid, security guard, English teacher, and even a hostess in a Tokyo club. She has an MA in film making from the American University in Washington DC and an MA in creative writing from Bath Spa University. She now lives in England's West Country and is a full-time writer.
